Giving the cardboard some time to shine

Giving the cardboard some time to shine

I rolled a 20 and a 1. What does that mean?

I enjoy playing games, both to unwind and to catch up with friends. Gaming is a hobby with as many options as there are different tastes in the world.

People will have heard me say “Use the best tool for the job when possible”. It might sound strange to apply that to gaming, but it still holds true.

Video games are great fun, but I sit in front of a screen 8+ hours a day for work. Board games take me away from a screen, but takes effort to set up and learn. It sometimes feels like you can’t win!

There are things you can do in a video game you can’t in a board game. The catch is the opposite also applies - especially with role-playing games.

So, the plan is to occasionally stream some of my tabletop adventures. This could be a solo board game or a more narrative adventure we can all join in.

If we are lucky, I may convince some friends to stream some games with me!
